On Tuesday 14th April, I was awarded a Fellowship of the European Academy with an introductory address by Professor Phillip Dewe, Vice- Master of Birkbeck. In accepting this honour, I presented my Keynote on “The UK Management Standards: Looking Forward, Looking Back“. The following day, as one of the closing presentations of the Conference, I presented a paper on the work of The METIS Collaboration on behalf of my colleagues Dr Sara MacLennan and Sarah Murdoch (Scott): ” Surviving Cancer and Working Life“.
