QUEENS’S BIRTHDAY HONOURS: PROFESSOR CARY COOPER KNIGHTED.
From Hi Cary! to Arise Professor Sir Cary Cooper: Congratulations.

UnknownEach year, on two occasions, HM Queen Elizabeth honours distinguished citizens of the UK through a series of civil awards, MBE, OBE and CBE, with the highest honour being a Knighthood (Kt). In this year’s Queen’s Birthday Honours, Her Majesty announced the award of a knighthood to our friend and colleague, Professor Cary Cooper CBE for his services to the social sciences. This is an outstanding achievement and one that is both well-earned and deserved. We congratulate him whole heartedly.

The full list of knighthoods is available on the web at: http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2014/jun/13/queens-birthday-honours-knights. Professor Sir Cary Cooper CBE is Distinguished Professor of Organizational Psychology & Health in Lancaster University Management School (LUMS).  You can access his biography at: http://www.lancaster.ac.uk/lums/people/all/cary-cooper
